Octane Energy to sell Oilfield Consultant-based Assets to Upstream International LLC
JUNE 1, 2020, MIDLAND, TEXAS – Sugar Land, Texas-based Upstream International LLC has entered into a purchase agreement for assets of Octane Energy Consulting, LLC, a bespoke provider of well site consulting services for an undisclosed amount. The transaction is expected to close in June of 2020.
Octane was founded in 2013 as the unconventional renaissance and shale revolutions were unfolding in the Permian Basin. The company made the INC 5000 list two consecutive years as the 5th and 4th fastest growing private energy company in Texas for 2017 and 2018 respectively. Since 2013 Octane has assisted its client E&P companies in creating value through more than $27B in M&A activity and unlocking more than 2 Billion Barrels of Reserves through leading drilling and completions operations.
